I own a Intel G965MS, and it supported a core 2 duo e6700, a much better option than any of the pentiums, so don't be afraid too experiment, especially with how absurdly cheap most of these CPU's are now. The latest bios for this chipset is from November 2008, so you never know what might work. I've heard rumors about some of the core 2 quads even working on this.
