Phenom II X4 945 compatibility

The first release of the 945 was a 105 W (or possibly 125 W) part, making it non-compatible with this motherboard. The current stepping (C3) is now a 95 W part, with the same PGA and Deneb core found in the 910. Does anyone know if this means that the 945 is now a viable upgrade route for this old motherboard?

hmm

Thanks for the input. That was my feeling, too, but it is nice to have a consensus.
