Hi Rachid..I personally own a mighty D620.
I have upgraded mine to:
1. SATA Toshiba HD 160GB (originally 40GB)
2. 4 GB RAM (1GB originally)
3. T7200 (T2300 originally)

I'm not sure T3400 work fine or not. BIOS update can be download at Dell's Driver site..once finished download, just run it thru. As far as I remember, it will automatically restart your laptop. hop this help.

Question about t5500 to t7600

2013-09-29 19:03:26
Posted by: Rick

Is it possible to upgrade a t5500c2d to a t7600c2d cpu? I've noticed in research that there are possibly two different sockets for these cpus and that it's possible the t7600 won't fit into the t5500 socket. But according to the chart... it looks possible..

Thanks for any feedback!

Recent Upgrade. Dell E 1705 T2300 to T 7600

Just wondering if anyone can help with this question.

I just recently purchased and installed a Intel T7600. Replaced a Intel T 2300.

I believe they are the same chip set. I had did a Bios Update before the install as well. Also I had put in a new hard drive as well. I had reinstalled Windows XP home premium as well. The install was fine and XP seem like it was installed correctly as well. Until I had to download the Dell Drivers for the PC. Whenever I do it, it says that it couldn't recognize the hardware? Thus cant download any Windows updates or any Dell Drivers.? could it be that the max allowed that I could have upgraded was just a T 2600? I had thought they were supposed to fit all the Motherbourds for that chip family. please help if you can. Also Email playinggolf101@yahoo.com
could it be that the drivers are just soooo old where it just doesn't recognize the new chip? Under my computer it shows the chip and everything.. so it is working.. just cant get Dell updates at all with Drivers or Windows Update?
