Dell Inspiron M501R (M5010) system specifications

CPU socket type:	Socket S1
The notebook supports only Socket S1g4 processors. Socket S1g1, S1g2 and S1g3 CPUs will fit, but won't work in Inspiron M5010. Dell official website claims support for up to AMD Phenom II X4 microprocessors, therefore majority of socket S1 (S1g4) CPUs should work in this laptop.
