Because this motherboard is only AM2, not AM2+ and all Athlon II are AM2+ or AM3.

Why no ADV6000IAA5DO ?

Why no "AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.1 GHz 2 x 512 KB Socket AM2 Dual-Core CPU"?

I ordered an AMD Athlon64x2 6000+ 3.0ghz 125w CPU for my Asus M2N-MX mother board and it's not supported. I've looked through the Asus web site for CPU support and the 6000+ series isn't even listed. Please remove this from your list as it is misleading.

asus removed the 125w cpus from the newer bios do to power issues but it did work with the older bios listed above the 95watt works also sothey wouldnt have to say 95w works but 125 watt dont so no one gets confused as the board cant handle 125watt cpus atleast with newest bios
