"Upgrade Chance" is a probability of a successful processor upgrade/downgrade from the Core i3-2350M (PGA) (original CPU) to a specific model. This number is calculated as a percentage of all motherboards, compatible with both original and upgrade CPUs, compared to the number of motherboards, that support the original Intel i3-2350M (PGA). The number "100%" means that all motherboards, that work with the original model, also work with the upgrade CPU. The number "0%" means that none of the boards, that support the original CPU, will support the upgrade processor. The performance value for many CPUs was determined from more than 10 different synthetic benchmarks and real-world tests. For each benchmarked application, we calculated performance ratio between current microprocessor and the Core i3-2350M (PGA), and then averaged the results. Overall performance of parts, marked with (1), was estimated using their specifications, and benchmarks of similar Intel Socket G2 products with Sandy Bridge core.
